

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a review meeting on the development of the Bhadrachalam Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with ministers Konda Surekha, Tummala Nageswara Rao and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy. Members of Parliament Vem Narender Reddy and Balaram Naik were also present. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Secretaries Sheshadri and Srinivasa Raju, Endowments Department Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer, Commissioner Hanumantha Rao, along with the temple EO, priests and other officials, participated in the meeting. The Chief Minister reviewed multiple design proposals for the temple’s development based on the land acquisition completed so far.
The Chief Minister emphasized that all development works must be carried out strictly in accordance with Agama Shastra, ensuring that the temple’s natural and spiritual sanctity remains undisturbed. He directed officials to implement the development in three phases, with a comprehensive plan that avoids inconvenience to devotees. Keeping the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu in mind, he instructed officials to identify priority works and prepare the first-phase development plan along with detailed estimates.
He further stressed that the construction and development of ghats near the temple should align with the Pushkaralu plans. The Chief Minister set a target to complete the first phase of development by March 31, 2027. He also directed officials to prepare plans and estimates in advance for completing the remaining works after the Pushkaralu, ensuring a systematic and timely execution of the entire project.
