

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu suggested that weightage be given to employees based on their performance. He asked the employees and officials to provide better services to the public. Chief Minister reviewed the performance of various departments from RTGS. While evaluating employee performance, he suggested that those who are not performing well should be motivated and those who are performing well should be identified and encouraged.
The Chief Minister instructed that appreciation letters be sent every month to employees who perform well and directed that along with performance evaluation, appreciation letters should be issued regularly and recorded in the employees’ personal service records. The Chief Minister said that sanitation must be given top priority in hospitals at all levels, starting from PHCs. If sanitation is not properly maintained, the concerned outsourcing agencies must be held accountable. Administrative officers of hospitals should be made responsible for sanitation and the availability of medical equipment. There should be no shortage of doctors in any hospital. Senior officials of the Health Department should coordinate with district collectors in this regard. The Chief Minister said that officials must ensure public convenience along with zero corruption. The situation should not arise where the ACB has to be activated.
There is a need to give a fresh look to the Revenue Department. Its negative image must be erased and visible change should be established. The re-survey should resolve all land-related issues and prevent future disputes. Revenue services, especially land-related services, will be moved towards automation.There should be no issues in drinking water supply and it must not be contaminated. Drinking water samples should be collected regularly and sent to laboratories for testing. The Chief Minister said that the government is extensively using technology to deliver services and is also adopting technology in governance. There is a need to create greater public awareness about the services being delivered through technology. For this, a special action plan should be prepared in coordination with Mee Seva, DWCRA groups, and the Planning Department. Plans should be prepared to educate the public on the use of technology both online and offline.
