

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Jammu today to review the border security situation and chair a high-level meeting on the overall security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir. Senior officials from the Army, paramilitary forces, intelligence agencies and the Jammu and Kashmir administration will attend the meeting.
The review will focus on border management, counter-terror operations, infiltration attempts and measures to maintain peace and stability in the region. The Home Minister is also expected to assess the preparedness of security forces and review ongoing security operations. The visit comes amid heightened security concerns and aims to strengthen coordination among agencies to ensure the safety of civilians and safeguard national security.
