Vijay Sethupathi Opens Up About His Bond With Vijay and Rajinikanth

Actor Vijay Sethupathi has opened up about his personal bond with Tamil star Vijay, amid recent discussions surrounding comments he made as the host of Bigg Boss. Recalling an earlier interaction, Sethupathi said he had sent birthday wishes to Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay. Vijay subsequently called him and addressed him as a dear friend, while telling him that his son was happy after seeing the wishes. Sethupathi said he was surprised to receive the call and described Vijay as a simple person despite being a major star.

Sethupathi also spoke about his experience working with Rajinikanth in Jailer 2. He revealed that he appears in a small guest role in the film and praised Rajinikanth for being a versatile performer who manages several aspects of filmmaking on set. Sethupathi said working with Rajinikanth strengthened his admiration for the veteran actor. He added that becoming an actor with the same level of dedication as Rajinikanth is his ultimate wish.
