Varun Tej Faces a Big Box Office Target...Will He Win?

Tollywood actor Varun Tej is gearing up for the release of his latest film 'Korean Kanakaraju', directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The film stars Ritika Nayak as the female lead, while Satya plays a key role. Produced under the UV Creations banner, the movie features music composed by S.S. Thaman. It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 7, with premiere shows planned across the Telugu states on August 6.

According to the latest trade reports, the film has completed its theatrical business in all territories. The Nizam rights were sold for ₹4 crore, Ceded for ₹1.5 crore, and Coastal Andhra for ₹5 crore, taking the total pre release business in the Telugu states to ₹10.5 crore. Including Karnataka and the Rest of India, the worldwide theatrical business has reportedly reached ₹12.5 crore. Trade analysts estimate that the film will need to collect around ₹13.5 crore share at the box office to achieve break even status.
