Director Srikanth Odela has opened up about his upcoming period action drama ‘The Paradise’, starring Nani in the lead role. The film, which also features Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal and Sonali Kulkarni, is set to release on September 24. Odela revealed that the makers have decided to release the film without a trailer as there was not enough time to cut one the way he wanted. He said the movie will be released in two parts with no further sequels, calling it “one single bullet”. The director added that the film was shot for 171 days and features four major action sequences, but the emotion will remain the biggest takeaway for audiences.
Odela said ‘The Paradise’ has been the most demanding film of Nani’s 18-year career and praised the actor for giving everything to the character. He revealed that Nani’s two-braids look was inspired by his own childhood and that Nani was the only one who believed in the idea initially. Mohan Babu plays the principal antagonist, while Sampoornesh Babu has an important role beyond comedy. The film features six songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Odela said he drew inspiration from real incidents in Adilabad and the life of a Secunderabad slum community to create the film’s revolutionary setting, including a unique culture he calls ‘Savari’.
