The latest blockbuster film Peddi, starring Ram Charan, has emerged as one of the biggest successes of his career, collecting over ₹400 crore worldwide since its release on June 4. To celebrate the film’s remarkable achievement, the makers organized the ‘Peddi Mega Blockbuster Event’ on June 23, attended by Chiranjeevi, directors Sukumar and Anil Ravipudi, along with the entire cast and crew. Amid the celebrations, the team won widespread appreciation for a thoughtful initiative aimed at bringing joy to orphaned children.
As part of the initiative, the Peddi team distributed specially crafted replica cricket bats modeled after the original bat used by Ram Charan in the film. What made the gift even more special was that each bat carried Ram Charan’s personal autograph. Designed under the supervision of renowned art director Avinash Kolla, the bats were created not only for the film but also to be gifted to children living in orphanages. The children were delighted to receive the signed memorabilia, and videos of the emotional moments have gone viral on social media. The gesture has earned praise from fans and movie lovers alike, highlighting the team’s commitment to giving back to society.
