Ram Charan's much-awaited film Peddi is creating records even before its theatrical release. Directed by Buchi Babu, the film is set to hit theatres on June 4, while overseas audiences will get to watch it a day earlier on June 3. With advance bookings opening across North America, tickets are selling rapidly, helping the film cross the prestigious $1 million gross mark before release.
The achievement marks another milestone for Ram Charan, as Peddi becomes his first film after RRR to enter the $1 million premiere club in North America. Meanwhile, the makers have intensified promotional activities. Speaking about the film, director Buchi Babu praised Ram Charan’s dedication, stating that the actor worked tirelessly to bring the character of Peddi to life. He revealed that Charan performed intense wrestling sequences despite suffering injuries and even sustained an eye injury during filming. The director admitted he was worried about how Megastar Chiranjeevi would react to the incident. Janhvi Kapoor stars as the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu and Shivarajkumar play pivotal roles in the film.
