Producers Give Clarity on Chiranjeevi’s Surgery

Producers Sushmita and Sahu Garapati of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu reacted to rumors about megastar Chiranjeevi undergoing surgery. When asked about the issue, Sushmita said she would not comment at present. Speaking during the film promotions, the producers confirmed that Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh will attend the pre-release event on Wednesday, along with other promotional activities and interviews.

Sushmita explained that Chiranjeevi is currently busy with post-production work and is also interacting with overseas fans through video calls. She said his fitness has improved compared to the past, which is why he appears in a special look in the film. She added that he stays fully focused during shooting and that audiences will see a fresh energy in him in this movie. Producer Sahu Garapati added that Chiranjeevi gives great importance to fitness and even works out twice a day during outdoor shoots. He also clarified that there are no plans for a sequel to this film.

Recent reports about Chiranjeevi undergoing a minor surgery and having knee issues had worried fans. However, the producers’ confirmation that he will take part in promotions has brought relief to them. The trailer released earlier has already raised expectations. Fans are praising Chiranjeevi’s vintage look, grace and comedy timing. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is set to release as a Sankranti treat on January 12. Nayanthara plays the female lead and the music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
