According to Prerna, the story's inspiration comes from mythological sources, specifically the idea of Naga Bandham connected to the Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple. As a follower of Lord Venkateswara, she drew inspiration from divine legends and the ancient Puranas. She claimed that the movie has captivating elements that will enthrall audiences, such as divine forces and black magic. She also disclosed that there will be a part 2 of "Jatadhara," carrying on the ethereal tale.
