I Have Great Admiration for Him - Brahmaji

Actor Brahmaji has spoken about his special professional and personal bond with director Krishna Vamsi in a recent interview. Describing Krishna Vamsi as a great person, Brahmaji said he has always had immense respect for the filmmaker. He recalled seeing Krishna Vamsi during the Ninne Pelladatha period and developing a strong desire to work with him. At a time when Brahmaji was still looking for opportunities, he became acquainted with Krishna Vamsi through the director’s roommates. He said he would even avoid visiting the room if he knew Krishna Vamsi was there because of the respect and natural sense of awe he felt towards him.

Brahmaji recalled that he first received a call from Krishna Vamsi for Sindhooram, but the opportunity was later cancelled, which left him disappointed. After some time, Krishna Vamsi gave him a role in Murari, and that marked the beginning of a close friendship and strong professional bonding between them. Brahmaji said they do not talk much on sets and usually focus on their respective work, while maintaining mutual respect and a comfortable distance. He revealed that Krishna Vamsi calls him for almost every film and usually writes a role specifically for him. Brahmaji has worked with the director in several films, including Rangamarthanda. He also said their working styles complement each other, as both prefer getting scenes done efficiently without unnecessary retakes.
