Victory Venkatesh’s blockbuster film Nuvvu Naaku Nachav remains one of the most loved family entertainers in Telugu cinema. Interestingly, a small suggestion made by Venkatesh during the script discussions is said to have played a crucial role in enhancing the film’s entertainment value. After listening to the complete story, Venkatesh reportedly felt that a major portion of the second half taking place inside a single house might become repetitive for audiences and advised the makers to make it more engaging.
Taking his suggestion seriously, the team worked on introducing an entertaining comedy track to break the monotony. Inspired by the popular Mr. Bean character, the makers reportedly developed the memorable Brahmanandam comedy episodes, which later became one of the film’s biggest highlights. Directed by K. Vijay Bhaskar, with story, screenplay and dialogues by Trivikram Srinivas, the film starred Aarthi Agarwal as the female lead and featured music composed by Mani Sharma. The comedy track went on to become a major factor behind the movie’s blockbuster success.
