The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for a firing attack on actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai on Sunday evening. In a social media post, gang members alleged that they targeted the actor for ignoring their warnings against working with Salman Khan. They also issued a warning to others in the film industry against collaborating with Khan. The incident reportedly occurred near Pushpa Park in Juhu while Tiger was returning from a football match. Three men on a motorcycle allegedly opened fire at his car. Tiger escaped unharmed, but his driver, Firdaus, sustained an injury to his left hand. An autorickshaw driver nearby was also injured.
Tiger and his driver were taken to a hospital for treatment. The actor was later discharged, while his driver continued to receive medical care. The other injured person was taken to a separate hospital. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis directed the police to investigate the incident. Mumbai Police have formed 15 teams to trace the attackers. One suspect has been detained for questioning, and investigators are examining CCTV footage to identify those involved. Police are also verifying the social media post claiming responsibility for the attack.
