Telugu cinema’s powerful duo, SS Rajamouli and Jr NTR, are reportedly reuniting once again after their global blockbuster RRR. This time, the pair is planning something truly historic — a biopic on the legendary Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, widely known as the Father of Indian Cinema.
According to industry talk, Rajamouli and NTR are considering bringing Phalke’s inspiring life story to the silver screen under the title “Made in India”. Although Rajamouli had announced this title almost two years ago, the project was delayed due to scheduling issues. Now, with NTR’s and Rajamouli’s busy calendars clearing up, the biopic may soon move forward.
The film will reportedly be produced by Karthikeya Rajamouli and Varun Gupta. Unlike Rajamouli’s earlier action or fantasy films, this one aims to showcase the journey of Indian cinema’s roots, reflecting the struggles, passion, and vision of Dadasaheb Phalke — the man who created India’s first-ever movie, Raja Harishchandra (1913).
Fans are thrilled about this possible reunion. Social media is abuzz with hashtags like #RRRTeamReturns and #MadeInIndia, as they eagerly await an official announcement.
If the project materializes, it could become another milestone in Jr NTR’s career and a tribute to Indian cinema’s glorious legacy.
