A mid-range film is different. A big-budget film is different. If it’s a mid-range movie with a mid-range hero, but the cost shoots up like a big movie, then problems are inevitable. And if both these clash, the market becomes even tougher. There’s one such mid-range hero whose films have mostly been flops you would have to search the entire Wikipedia to find hits. The very planning of this film was a mistake, but they still went ahead with it. After starting, the expenses kept rising and it now looks like it’s reaching the scale of a big-budget film. Because of this, the producer reportedly went to the hero for a discussion.
When the producer asked, “What do we do? Can you reduce your remuneration a little?”, the hero didn’t respond directly. It seems he silently behaved as if to say, It’s not about how many flops are in my account the only point is whether my remuneration has come into my account or not. For now, the shooting has been stopped. Not only that, the hero himself is said to be trying to shift the project to another producer. By doing this, the hero believes one of two things will happen The original producer, out of pride or competition, might decide to bear all the cost and finish the film. Or the project will move to another producer, in which case the hero still keeps his movie and gets his remuneration anyway. But either way, the hero’s main concern is that someone must rescue and complete the project somehow.
