Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently working at a rapid pace with multiple film projects lined up. After “Akhanda 2”, he immediately began shooting with director Gopichand Malineni, while also planning another film simultaneously. Reports suggest that Balakrishna is showing interest in working with both senior and young directors, with several filmmakers competing to collaborate with him.

The upcoming Gopichand Malineni project is said to have shifted from a historical backdrop to a full-scale action and mafia setting, where Balakrishna will be seen as a powerful don. Meanwhile, buzz is also strong around a possible project with Koratala Siva, along with discussions about casting choices and production planning. However, there is also speculation that some of the previously discussed young director projects may be on hold as new combinations are being finalized.
