Vande Mataram Bill Is Unconstitutional - Owaisi

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly objected to the proposed Vande Mataram Bill, stating that it is unconstitutional. He alleged that the bill violates Articles 25, 26, and 29 of the Constitution and expressed concerns over its implications.

Speaking to the media, Owaisi said that Jana Gana Mana represents the nation and its people, whereas Vande Mataram contains references to the worship of deities. He stated that it is not the National Anthem and added that, as a Muslim, he worships only Allah. He also alleged that attempts are being made to transform India into a Hindu nation.
