Tragedy Near Bommaluru Toll Plaza

A tragic road accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday near the Bommaluru (Kallaparu) Toll Plaza on the National Highway in Bapulapadu mandal of Krishna district. Nunna Suresh (52), a prominent educational institution owner from Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry), lost his life after his Range Rover SUV rammed into a stationary lorry from behind. The impact of the collision completely crushed the front portion of the vehicle.

According to preliminary information, Suresh was travelling from Hyderabad to Rajamahendravaram with his family member, Nunna Vimala Devi, when the accident occurred. Vimala Devi sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital by local residents. Police reached the spot, initiated rescue operations, shifted the body for post-mortem examination and registered a case. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
