Tirumala: Leopard Spotted on Alipiri Footpath

A leopard sighting on the Alipiri footpath leading to Tirumala has caused concern among devotees. According to the information, the leopard was spotted sitting on a tree near the 2,765th step. Devotees who noticed the animal were alarmed, prompting security personnel to step up vigilance along the footpath.

As a precautionary measure, security staff are allowing devotees to proceed in groups instead of travelling individually. Officials are closely monitoring the movement of pilgrims along the Alipiri footpath. With large numbers of devotees visiting Tirumala during the ongoing Brahmotsavams, police and TTD security teams have intensified safety and crowd-management measures.
