Telangana GENCO Bans Protests at Vidyut Soudha Amid Employees' Agitation

Telangana GENCO has issued fresh orders prohibiting protests, rallies, demonstrations, and meetings within the premises of Vidyut Soudha. The decision comes as employees continue protesting against the privatization of the power sector and demanding the cancellation of private tenders for ash and coal handling plants at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station.

HR Director S. V. Kumar Raju stated that maintaining discipline within the organization is essential and warned that employees violating the new restrictions would face disciplinary action. The development has drawn attention as employee unions continue raising concerns over privatization and outsourcing in the power sector.
