Shock for Telegram Users

Amid concerns that paper leak networks are allegedly using Telegram to facilitate examination related malpractices, the Central Government has reportedly taken a significant step. According to reports, a temporary ban has been imposed on the platform until the completion of the NEET UG retest scheduled across the country on June 21.

Officials said the measure has been introduced to maintain transparency in the examination process and prevent any untoward incidents. As per the reported decision, Telegram services are expected to be restored for users from June 22 after the retest process concludes.
