Several MPTC and ZPTC Seats in Andhra Pradesh Declared Unopposed

A total of 1,985 out of 9,829 Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) seats in Andhra Pradesh have been won unopposed. The remaining 7,844 seats are set to witness a contest, with 18,952 candidates in the fray. The figures indicate that a significant number of MPTC constituencies will see candidates competing for victory in the local body elections.

Similarly, 77 out of the 659 Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) seats have been decided unopposed. The remaining 582 seats will see a contest among 2,169 candidates. The election figures reflect the scale of competition across the state’s mandal and district-level local bodies.
