

At the FICCI Ladies Organization meeting, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made significant announcements aimed at strengthening women empowerment. He revealed that loans worth ₹16,000 crore have already been provided to 6.7 million women self-help groups across the state. To expand their market reach, the government plans to connect their products to global platforms like Amazon. He also reiterated the government’s vision to transform Telangana into a one trillion dollar economy by 2034.
To further empower women, the government is constructing Indira Mahila Shakti buildings in 22 district headquarters to serve as hubs for training and marketing activities. Additionally, a premium space worth ₹1,000 crore near Shilparamam has been allocated for an Indira Mahila Shakti Bazaar, supporting rural handicrafts. The Chief Minister also promised land allocation for FICCI offices and quarterly meetings to address women entrepreneurs’ concerns. Under welfare initiatives, women groups have been entrusted with responsibilities such as solar power generation, school management, and uniform stitching, highlighting their role in driving economic growth.
