Quality Concerns Over Lucknow–Kanpur Road

The Lucknow–Kanpur Greenfield Elevated Expressway in Uttar Pradesh has reportedly developed damage within just 12 days of its inauguration. The road was inaugurated on July 13 by Union Minister Rajnath Singh, raising concerns over construction standards.

The 63-kilometre-long expressway was built at a cost of ₹4,200 crore. Netizens have expressed outrage, stating that while rapid construction is important, maintaining quality standards is equally crucial for public safety and durability.
