As the annual Amarnath Yatra is set to commence on July 3, authorities have put in place an unprecedented security framework to ensure the safety of pilgrims. The Indian Army, along with multiple security agencies, has launched a special operational strategy named "Operation Shiva" to provide comprehensive protection throughout the pilgrimage route.
For the first time, advanced anti-drone technology will play a key role in safeguarding the yatra. Security forces have deployed state-of-the-art anti-drone guns and surveillance equipment across 55 sensitive locations. The enhanced measures are aimed at preventing potential threats and ensuring a secure and seamless pilgrimage experience for thousands of devotees visiting the holy Amarnath shrine.
