Minister for Mining, Labour and Employment Gaddam Vivek said that the CBCID has begun an investigation into illegal mining activities. He stated that the probe will proceed as announced by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the Assembly. He addressed the media marking one year of his tenure.
He alleged that the previous government allowed sand mafia activities, while the current government is taking strict action. The state aims to generate ₹1,200 crore revenue from sand this year. He also announced a new law for gig workers and the conversion of 65 ITIs into advanced training centres to boost employment.
