My Wish Is for the Coalition Government to Move Forward Strongly - Pawan Kalyan

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Pithapuram MLA Pawan Kalyan said his goal is to develop Pithapuram as a model constituency in the country. Speaking at a public meeting held during his two-day visit, he said development works worth around ₹1,500 crore were being inaugurated or launched in the constituency. He said priority was being given to roads, drinking water, sanitation, education, healthcare and basic infrastructure. According to Pawan, more than ₹200 crore has already been spent on roads, with over 600 CC and BT roads completed, while another 202 roads were inaugurated.

Pawan Kalyan said projects including a ₹225 crore underground drainage system, a ₹323 crore coastal protection wall at Uppada, drinking-water schemes, healthcare facilities, parks, tank development and a road over bridge are being taken up in the constituency. He also said strengthening the coalition government and working together without affecting the dignity of any partner was his priority. Pawan added that arrangements would be made to set up his camp office in Pithapuram within the next three to four months.
