The southwest monsoon is advancing rapidly across India and is now moving towards Telangana. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon has already covered Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, while also strengthening its presence over Goa, Tamil Nadu, the Arabian Sea, and parts of the Bay of Bengal.
IMD has indicated favorable conditions for the monsoon to enter Telangana within the next two to three days. It is also expected to further spread to Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, and northeastern states thereafter. Several regions have already recorded heavy rainfall, and the weather department has warned of intense rainfall activity in the coming days.
