The booking gap for LPG refill cylinders has been revised for consumers across the country. Under the new system, both urban and rural consumers will be able to book a refill cylinder after a gap of 25 days.
Earlier, consumers in rural areas had to wait 45 days before booking another refill cylinder. With LPG supply conditions improving, the gap has now been reduced to 25 days, bringing the booking rules for rural and urban areas on a common platform. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have been directed to implement the revised system.
