The Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO is preparing for the launch of the GSLV-F17 mission after a four-month break. The launch will take place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, where a 1,117 kg Earth observation satellite EOS-5 will be placed into orbit later this month.
Following the earlier setbacks of PSLV-C61 and C62 missions, scientists are closely monitoring each stage of the rocket’s performance. The mission is considered crucial for validating India’s indigenous cryogenic engine technology and strengthening the country’s position in the global space sector.
