A large number of devotees are heading to Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara, with the summer holiday season pushing the crowd levels higher than usual. The Vaikuntam Queue Complex is already full, and long queues have formed outside, stretching for kilometers. Devotees without tokens are currently waiting up to 12 hours for darshan.
Due to the heat, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is arranging basic facilities like drinking water, milk, and free meals for those in queues. In a single day, more than 74,000 devotees had darshan, while over 33,000 offered their hair as part of religious vows. The temple also recorded hundi collections exceeding ₹4 crore. The Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, is scheduled to visit the temple today. Officials will receive him at the entrance and conduct Vedic blessings after the darshan.
