Srisailam temple in Nandyal district is witnessing a significant influx of devotees as consecutive holidays have drawn large numbers of visitors. Devotees arriving for the darshan of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy are reportedly facing a waiting time of around two hours.
The heavy rush has also affected the conduct of certain special rituals at the temple. Abhishekam and Kumkumarchana for Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba have been temporarily suspended due to the large number of devotees. The temple authorities are managing the crowd and darshan arrangements amid the increased footfall.
