Govt clears pending GPF dues of pensioners in Telangana

The Telangana government has released ₹1,000 crore to clear pending dues of retired employees. The funds have been used to settle General Provident Fund (GPF) arrears pending up to October last year.

Recently, the High Court expressed strong displeasure over the delay in payment of dues to retired employees, which prompted the government to take immediate action.
