

Revanth Reddy met leaders of various RTC workers’ unions at his Jubilee Hills residence and reaffirmed that the government will stand firmly with RTC employees. Union leaders thanked the Chief Minister for taking proactive steps toward resolving long-pending issues. The meeting was attended by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MPs Vem Narender Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav, senior officials, and TSRTC representatives.
The Chief Minister emphasized that there is no division between the government and workers, stating that collective effort is key to strengthening RTC. He highlighted major initiatives including procurement of 1,000 electric buses, plans for international-standard bus terminals in Shamshabad, and expansion of services. He assured that no driver jobs would be cut, pending dues are being cleared, and financial reforms are underway to reduce diesel expenditure and debt burden. He urged unions to avoid political influence and work collaboratively for the organization’s long-term sustainability.
