

Kayalvizhi, daughter of former Union Minister M. K. Alagiri, has been accused of slapping an SBI branch manager following an argument at a bank located in a building owned by her in Chennai’s Adyar. According to the complaint, branch manager Harshin Singh attempted to contact Kayalvizhi’s assistant after the lift in the building stopped functioning. When he reportedly received no response, Singh contacted Kayalvizhi directly and informed her about the issue. She later arrived at the branch and allegedly questioned him angrily over the phone call.
The situation reportedly escalated when Kayalvizhi allegedly slapped the manager while he was seated with his hands resting against his cheeks. The incident was captured by CCTV cameras installed on the premises, according to the complaint. Following a complaint lodged by the bank’s chief manager, police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Further details are expected to emerge as authorities examine the complaint and CCTV footage.
