Former Jubilee Hills CI Srinivasulu Reddy Gets Relief from Supreme Court

Former Jubilee Hills Station House Officer and Circle Inspector U. Srinivasulu Reddy has received interim relief from the Supreme Court in a case involving serious allegations. The Supreme Court has directed that he should not be arrested until the next hearing, according to the proceedings. A bench comprising Justices B.V. Nagarathna and R. Mahadevan adjourned the matter for further hearing.

Srinivasulu Reddy is facing allegations of sexually harassing and intimidating a woman and forcing her to undergo an abortion. He was suspended following the allegations. The Telangana High Court had recently rejected his anticipatory bail plea, accepting the State’s contention that custodial interrogation was necessary in view of the allegations, including sexual assault, intimidation and alleged misuse of official position.
