Former Japanese Minister Raises Concerns Over India-Japan Bullet Train Project..

Former Japanese minister of justice Hideki Makihara has sparked discussions with his remarks on the India-Japan bullet train project. In a post on X, he alleged that delays in the project were due to the Indian side and claimed that promises made during negotiations were not properly followed.

Makihara expressed his disappointment over the delay, stating that many Japanese people had invested their efforts and dedication into the project. His comments came at a time when India is making progress in railway technology, including the unveiling of the country’s first hydrogen-powered train in Haryana’s Jind.
