

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has entered the ice cream business. Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of RIL, announced on Tuesday that it will launch ice cream products under the brand name ‘Bombay Creamery’. The products will be available in cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks, with prices starting at Rs.10. The company will initially launch the products in western India and plans to expand across the country later.
Meanwhile, JioHotstar, the streaming platform owned by Reliance Industries, has announced its entry into international entertainment markets. The platform is expanding its streaming services to the United Kingdom, Canada and Singapore. More than 1.60 lakh hours of content in over 12 languages will be made available to consumers in these markets. The expansion marks another step in JioHotstar’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the global entertainment market.
