Flood Surge, Alert at Jurala Project

Flood inflows continue at the Jurala Project, prompting officials to lift 27 gates and release water downstream. The project is receiving an inflow of 1,60,000 cusecs, while the outflow stands at 1,77,000 cusecs. Authorities are closely monitoring the water levels and flood situation.

The full reservoir level of the Jurala Project is 318.516 metres, while the current water level is recorded at 317.33 metres. Power generation is continuing through all 11 units, producing 434 megawatts of electricity.
