Ensure No Obstacles to Development Works: Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu

IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu directed officials to ensure that land acquisition does not hinder irrigation projects and road construction. During a review meeting held at the Secretariat with ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Adluri Laxman Kumar, he assessed development works across four districts of the erstwhile Karimnagar region. He instructed officials to expedite irrigation projects to provide timely water supply to farmers and resolve issues related to land acquisition and forest clearances on priority.

The minister also emphasized completing new road construction and repair works at a faster pace. He directed officials to address the shortage of engineers in municipalities through deputation. In view of recent heavy rains, he asked collectors to allot alternative housing sites for affected residents. He stressed strengthening sanitation measures during the monsoon to prevent the spread of diseases and advised incorporating public representatives’ inputs in development planning.
