Telangana Director General of Police C.V. Anand has constituted a six-member inquiry committee to examine complaints raised by the 1991 batch Sub-Inspectors (SIs). The committee has been tasked with reviewing objections submitted by Additional Superintendents of Police (Addl. SPs) and examining issues related to the adjustment of vacant Inspector posts. The move comes in response to representations made by officers regarding promotions and vacancy management.
The inquiry committee has also been directed to specifically examine the adjustment of vacant Inspector posts in the Warangal Range. Based on the committee's findings, the Telangana Police Department is expected to take an appropriate decision on the pending issues concerning the 1991 batch officers and the allocation of vacancies.
