Case Registered Over Offensive Social Media Posts

In Hyderabad, police have registered a case over objectionable social media posts related to the Bandi Bhagirath case. Allegations were made online against a woman judge during the anticipatory bail hearing.

It was reported that Judge Madhavi mentioned these social media posts during the proceedings.

Posts claimed that if anticipatory bail was granted, her husband would be given the Bar Council chairman post. Acting on a complaint from the High Court Registrar, Charminar police registered a case and began an investigation.
