

The Andhra Pradesh government has gone on alert after a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal became concentrated along the south Odisha–north Andhra coast. Home Minister Anita directed officials to take precautionary measures to prevent any damage due to rainfall. She ordered the establishment of control rooms in rain-affected districts and asked officials to closely monitor the situation. Authorities have also been instructed to coordinate effectively to ensure timely assistance during emergencies.

Officials have been asked to take all necessary measures in areas likely to be affected by heavy rain and strong winds and ensure that people receive timely support.
