The 36-day-long protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi has officially concluded after the Citizens Justice Party (CJP) announced the withdrawal of its agitation. The decision came after Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stepped down, meeting one of the key demands raised by the protesters. The protest site had remained a focal point of demonstrations and public gatherings throughout the movement.
With the protest now over, Jantar Mantar has returned to a peaceful atmosphere. Civic authorities have started cleaning the venue and restoring normal public access. The conclusion of the agitation marks the end of a prolonged protest that drew nationwide attention and sparked discussions on public accountability and governance.
