

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a leading public sector engineering and manufacturing company, has reported strong financial results for the fourth quarter of FY 2025–26. The company’s consolidated net profit jumped 2.5 times to over ₹1,290 crore in January–March (Q4), compared to ₹504 crore in the same period last year. The growth was mainly driven by strong performance in the power equipment segment. The board has also declared a final dividend of ₹1.40 per share.
Total revenue rose significantly from ₹9,143 crore to ₹12,554 crore during the quarter, with the power segment contributing ₹9,510 crore compared to ₹6,192 crore in the previous year.
For the full financial year ended March 2026, BHEL’s net profit more than tripled to over ₹1,600 crore, up from ₹534 crore last year. Annual revenue increased from ₹28,805 crore to ₹34,590 crore, while power equipment turnover grew to ₹25,407 crore from ₹20,937 crore.
