Microsoft's New Move Stuns the Tech World

Microsoft has once again surpassed market expectations by delivering strong financial results for the fourth quarter of the 2026 fiscal year. The company reported $90 billion in revenue, driven largely by the rapid growth of its cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) businesses. Azure cloud revenue grew by 43%, strengthening Microsoft's position in the global cloud market.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also announced that the company plans to launch its AI powered Copilot Super App later this year. The application will integrate chat, coding, workplace collaboration tools, and automated AI agents into a single platform, aiming to serve both individual users and businesses.

Calling 2026 a record breaking financial year, Nadella said Microsoft's annual revenue exceeded $331 billion, while its cloud business generated $214 billion in revenue. Azure crossed the $100 billion annual revenue milestone for the first time, marking a significant achievement in the company's cloud journey.
