Gold & Silver Prices Fall Sharply Today

Gold prices witnessed a sharp decline on Friday, bringing relief to buyers after several days of continuous increases. As of 10:00 AM, the price of 24 carat gold (10 grams) in Hyderabad and Vijayawada stood at ₹1,44,330, down by ₹1,850 compared to the previous day.

The price of 22 carat gold (10 grams) also dropped significantly to ₹1,32,300, registering a decline of ₹1,700. Silver prices followed the same trend, falling by ₹5,000 per kilogram. The price of silver in Hyderabad and Vijayawada is currently ₹2,40,000 per kg.

Gold prices remained unchanged across major cities in Telangana, including Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, and Nizamabad. Similarly, the same rates were recorded in major Andhra Pradesh cities such as Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Nellore, and Tirupati.

Across India, most cities reported similar gold prices. While Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kerala, and other cities recorded ₹1,44,330 for 24 carat gold (10 grams), Delhi stood slightly higher at ₹1,44,480, and Ahmedabad at ₹1,44,380. Buyers are advised to check local rates before making purchases.
