

Digital payments platform Paytm has introduced a new feature designed to help users manage their recurring UPI payments more efficiently. The latest update allows users to assign custom labels to their UPI AutoPay transactions, making it easier to identify and track subscription-based payments. Until now, payments for services such as YouTube Premium, Google One, and ChatGPT often appeared under a common merchant name, creating confusion for users.
With the new feature, users can visit the Auto Payments section within the Paytm app and assign personalized labels to each recurring payment. This enhancement enables better expense tracking, simplifies subscription management, and reduces the risk of accidentally canceling important services. According to a senior company executive, the feature aims to provide users with greater transparency and control over their digital spending.
