Instagram has officially rolled out its highly anticipated Grid Reordering feature, allowing users to rearrange posts on their profile grid regardless of when they were originally published. The update comes after years of user requests and nearly a year after Instagram chief Adam Mosseri confirmed that the feature was under development.
The new option enables users to create a more personalized and visually appealing profile layout by moving posts to preferred positions. Alongside existing features such as “Pin to Main Grid” and “Archive,” users will now see a “Reorder Grid” option that allows posts to be dragged and rearranged. However, pinned posts will remain fixed at the top of the profile and cannot be moved while pinned. The update offers creators, businesses, and regular users greater control over how their content is presented.
