BCCI Confirms Official Approval for TG20 Tournament

BCCI Apex Council Member V. Chamundeswaranath has clarified that the TG20 Tournament has received official approval from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Speaking at the tournament’s inauguration ceremony in Hyderabad, he stated that there is no need for any doubts regarding the event’s legitimacy. He assured players, sponsors, and partner organizations that the tournament is being conducted with full authorization.

He further stated that TG20 is an officially recognized tournament being held under BCCI approval and in accordance with all required guidelines and permissions. Chamundeswaranath emphasized that such tournaments play a vital role in promoting cricket at the grassroots level and provide young cricketers with an excellent platform to showcase their talent and progress in the sport.
